A guide will pick the clients up in their cabin/apartment/hotel and bring them to a safari club. Clients will get a set of warm thermal cloths - socks, boots, overall and mittens.
We drive bysnowmobile to a wilderness lake. On the ice we spend couple of hours ice fishing. If you have luck in fishing we can prepare your catch also on the fire.

Children on snowmobile safaris

• Children under 140cm sit in sleighs due to safity measures
• Children under 6 year old sitting in sleighs must be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling
• Children over 140cm tall can sit as passangers on a snowmobile driven by the adult
• Sleighs are always pulled by the guide's snowmobile
• Sleighs fit up to 6 passangers.
Attention: excursion is not recommended for small children

Price includes

• outdoor clothing
• guiding in Finnish and English
• return transfer from your cabin/appartment/hotel to safari club (in Saariselkä village)
• fishing licences and equipment
• picnic lunch
• third party motor insurance: the driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 16 years of age with a valid driving licence
• program will take place depending on weather conditions

Attention: pick-up NOT included in Kakslauttanen - Kiilopää area (meeting point at safari office in address Honkapolku 1, by 9:45 AM)

GENERAL TERMS

• snowmobile safaris are subject to change due to weather conditions
• prepaid safaris will not be refunded
• the driver of the snowmobile is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle
• snowmobiles are insured as required by The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. This insurance covers medical care for injuries to the driver and the passenger arising from accidents.

Personal injuries and damages to third parties are fully covered according to The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. Snowmobile safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles
hired to them. The personal liability (excess) is a maximum of 900 € per snowmobile and per accident.
We reserve the right to change the routing and duration of all excursions or cancel trips if necessary according to the prevailing weather and snow conditions, or if recommended for the safety and comfort of the participants.
