Ukonkivi is a spectacular stone island in Lake Inari. Ukonkivi is culturally and historically significant and has a long history in Sámi mythology. The burial island is also a historically significant part of Sámi culture.
In summer, Ukonkivi can be reached by boat from Inari village, and in winter by snowmobile or skiing.
