Refunds will only be made in case of illness. To claim a refund, a medical certificate needs to be at Lapponia Tours Ltd within 2 working days of the cancellation date. Cancellation in the case of illness should be informed in written \/ by e-mail latest on the day prior to the activity by 2 PM. Medical certificate is personal, refunds apply for maximum 2 participants.<\/span><\/p>\n
OBS! These terms do not apply husky safari, which is non-refundable!<\/span><\/h4>\n
Non-payment is not a cancellation. Client should inform Lapponia Tours Ltd of an intend to cancel the reservation. Lapponia Tours Ltd reserves the right to cancel a booking in the case the payment is not made by the due date.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Other safari terms<\/h2>\n
Snowmobile safaris<\/h4>\n
Snowmobiles are insured as required by The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. This insurance covers medical care for injuries to the driver and the passenger arising from accidents.
Personal injuries and damages to other parties are fully covered according to The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act.<\/p>\nSnowmobile safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles rented to them. The self-liability amount is maximum 1200 \u20ac per snowmobile and per accident case. You can half the own liability (1200 \u20ac > 600 \u20ac) by paying 50 \u20ac \/ person before the safari.<\/p>\n
\n
- The driver of a snowmobile has to be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license in Finland \u2013 please read more regulations: Foreign driving license in Finland.<\/li>\n
- During snowmobile safaris children under 12 years old sit in a sleigh pulled by the guide, if not specified otherwise by a producer.<\/li>\n
- Small children should be accompanied by an adult when sitting in a sleigh during an activity.<\/li>\n
- Driving of a snowmobile under the influence of an alcoholic and\/or other toxic substance is prohibited by Finnish law. The payment is not refunded on this reason.<\/li>\n
- Every participant is required by law to wear a helmet on a snowmobile safari.<\/li>\n
- Snowmobile activities and sleigh rides are not allowed for pregnant women.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Husky safaris<\/h4>\n
\n
- Cancellation 30 days before the activity date – less than 30 days: 100 % will be charged<\/li>\n
- In case of illness or last minute cacellation, husky activities are non-refundable.<\/li>\n
- The personal liability is 1200 \u20ac \/case of accident.<\/li>\n
- During husky safaris children under 14 years old are not allowed to drive a husky team, but sit in a sleigh \u2013 to drive a husky team the client should be physically fit (also minimum weight, height etc.)<\/li>\n
- Small children should be accompanied by an adult when sitting in a sleigh during an activity.<\/li>\n
- Husky activities are not allowed for pregnant women due to the vibrations of uneven tracks might be harmful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Cold weather restrictions -25\u00b0C and below<\/h4>\n

- We value safety as our first priority, when the temperature reach below -25 celsius, Lapponia reserve the rights to amend the program:\n

- Snowmobile Safari, children 0 – 11 years old are not permitted on the tours due to safety reason.<\/li>\n
- Reindeer Safari: Reindeer Safari sleigh ride will be shortened to 15-20 minutes, and the outdoor break will be moved to an indoor kota.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Private activities<\/h4>\n

Additional conditions<\/h4>\n

- The producer is not liable for any loss, injury, damage whether direct, indirect or consequential, arising from incidents or accidents during transfers, meals, accommodation, games and other activities except to the extent that such loss, injury or damage is caused by intention or by gross negligence.<\/li>\n
- The client is obliged to compensate producer any indirect loss and costs arising from any negligent act or omission or from any other reason which does not follow the given instructions.<\/li>\n
- All transfers including in the activity are under the liability of the producer.<\/li>\n
- Lapponia Tours Ltd and its producer reserves the right to change the program due to safety or weather conditions etc.<\/li>\n
- Lapponia Tours Ltd and its producer reserves the right to interrupt an activity if a participant is seen as a potential danger to him\/herself or to other participants. In case of termination of an activity the payment is not refunded.<\/li>\n
- Personal travel insurance is highly recommended. Please check the coverage of your travel insurance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
Applicable law and place of litigation<\/h4>\n
The Contracting Parties shall strive to solve disputes concerning the Contract together through negotiations. In the event an agreement cannot be reached through negotiations disputes shall be carried out in the District Court of Lappi. The Contract is bound by Finnish law. Lapponia Tours Ltd shall not be liable for changes arising subsequent to this publication which are beyond our control, for example force majeure (strike, fire, water damage, nature disaster, war etc.). Lapponia Tours Ltd reserves the right to make changes.<\/p>\n

CANCELLATION<\/span>:
\nIf the tour is canceled up to 6 days (144 hours) in advance, a full refund applies.

\nNo refund for cancellation made less than 48 hours before the beginning of the activity. No refund for “no show” (confirmed bookings that are not cancelled at all but participants do not arrive on time\/at all).
\nAMENDMENTS<\/span>:
\nIn case the customer has booked several slots for an activity and wishes to cancel only some of them, standard terms of cancellation are applied to the slots cancelled. In case the customer falls suddenly ill, is injured or otherwise incapable to participate in the activity due to medical reasons, the customer is entitled to receive 80% refund of the price of the activity provided by Ky Polaris Point Horses LP. To receive any refund, customer has to cancel the activity through booking engine used for booking and on writing (text message\/e-mail) before the starting time of the activity and provide Ky Polaris Point Horses LP a written document from a medical doctor within 14 days of cancellation.
\nKy Polaris Point Horses LP may not be held responsible for compensating any possible damages incurred to the customer or customers belongings related to natural conditions, insects, animals or unexpected changes in the weather. CANCELLATION<\/span>:
If the tour is canceled up to 6 days (144 hours) in advance, a full refund applies.
If the tour is canceled up to 2 days (48 hours) in advance, a 20% refund applies.
No refund for cancellation made less than 48 hours before the beginning of the activity. No refund for \u201cno show\u201d (confirmed bookings that are not cancelled at all but participants do not arrive on time\/at all).<\/p>AMENDMENTS<\/span>:
In case the customer has booked several slots for an activity and wishes to cancel only some of them, standard terms of cancellation are applied to the slots cancelled. In case the customer falls suddenly ill, is injured or otherwise incapable to participate in the activity due to medical reasons, the customer is entitled to receive 80% refund of the price of the activity provided by Ky Polaris Point Horses LP. To receive any refund, customer has to cancel the activity through booking engine used for booking and on writing (text message\/e-mail) before the starting time of the activity and provide Ky Polaris Point Horses LP a written document from a medical doctor within 14 days of cancellation.
Ky Polaris Point Horses LP may not be held responsible for compensating any possible damages incurred to the customer or customers belongings related to natural conditions, insects, animals or unexpected changes in the weather. Palautus maksetaan vain sairastapauksissa. Vaatiessaan takaisinmaksua, asiakkaan on toimitettava l\u00e4\u00e4k\u00e4rintodistus kirjallisena (postitse tai e-maililla) Saarisel\u00e4n Keskusvaraamo Oy:lle 2 ty\u00f6p\u00e4iv\u00e4n sis\u00e4ll\u00e4 peruutus ilmoituksesta. Peruutus sairaustapauksen vuoksi on teht\u00e4v\u00e4 viimeist\u00e4\u00e4n ohjelma edelt\u00e4v\u00e4n\u00e4 p\u00e4iv\u00e4n\u00e4 ennen klo 14.<\/p>

Moottorikelkat ovat vakuutettu Suomen liikennevakuutuslain mukaisesti. T\u00e4m\u00e4 laki kattaa vammojen sairaanhoidon vahinkotapauksissa moottorikelkan kuljettajalle ja matkustajalle.
Henkil\u00f6kohtaiset vammat ja vahingot muille osapuolille korvataan t\u00e4ysim\u00e4\u00e4r\u00e4isen\u00e4 Suomen liikennevakuutuslain mukaisesti.<\/p>Moottorikelkka safarin osallistuja on vastuussa h\u00e4nelle vuokratulle moottorikelkalle aiheutuneista vahingoista.<\/p>
Omavastuu osuus on maksimissaan 900 \u20ac \/ moottorikelkka \/ vahinkotapaus. Joissain ohjelmissa on mahdollisuus ennakkoon maksettua lis\u00e4maksua vastaan pienent\u00e4\u00e4 omavastuu osuutta.<\/p>

- Moottorikelkkaohjelmia ei suositella raskaana olevalle.<\/li><\/ul>
Huskysafarit<\/h3>
- Omavastuu osuus huskysafareilla on 1200 \u20ac \/ vahinkotapaus.<\/li>
- Alle 14 v. lapsi ei ole oikeutettu ohjaamaan reke\u00e4 - husky reen ohjaamiseen vaaditaan fyysisi\u00e4 ominaisuuksia (lis\u00e4ksi tietty pituus ja paino).<\/li>
- Pieni lapsi matkustaa reess\u00e4 aikuisen kanssa.<\/li>
- Huskyaohjelmia ei suositella raskaana olevalle.<\/li><\/ul>
Lis\u00e4ehdot<\/h3>
- Tuottaja ei ole vastuussa mist\u00e4\u00e4n menetyksist\u00e4 tai vahingoista, jotka johtuvat suorista tai v\u00e4lillisist\u00e4 vaaratilanteista koskien ohjelman aikana tapahtuvia kuljetuksia, ruokailuja, majoitusta, pelej\u00e4 tai muuta toimintaa, jotka johtuvat asiakkaan v\u00e4linpit\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6myydest\u00e4 tai\u00a0 suuresta huolimattomuudesta.<\/li>
- Asiakas sitoutuu korvaamaan tuottajan ja\/tai h\u00e4nen ty\u00f6ntekij\u00f6it\u00e4\u00e4n vastaan suorasti tai ep\u00e4suorasti aiheutuneet v\u00e4lilliset menetykset ja kulut, jotka aiheutuvat asiakkaan huolimattomuudesta tai v\u00e4linpit\u00e4m\u00e4tt\u00f6myydest\u00e4 tai mist\u00e4 tahansa muusta syyst\u00e4, joka rikkoo ohjeistusta.<\/li>
- Kaikki ohjelmaan sis\u00e4ltyv\u00e4t kuljetukset ovat ohjelman tuottajan vastuulla.<\/li>
- Lapponia Tours Oy ja sen tuottajat pit\u00e4v\u00e4t oikeuden muuttaa ohjelman reitti\u00e4 ja kestoa tarvittaessa kulloisenkin s\u00e4\u00e4olosuhteen tai lumitilanteen mukaan, joka katsotaan j\u00e4rkev\u00e4ksi\/suotavaksi turvallisuuden tai osallistujien mukavuuden vuoksi.<\/li>
- Lapponia Tours Oy ja sen tuottajat\u00a0 pit\u00e4v\u00e4t oikeuden keskeytt\u00e4\u00e4 ohjelma, jos osallistujan katsotaan olevan vaaraksi itselleen tai muille osallistujille tai on huonossa kunnossa. Keskeytt\u00e4mistapauksessa asiakas ei ole oikeutettu maksun palautukseen.<\/li>
- Asiakkaalle suositellaan aina henkil\u00f6kohtaista matkavakuutusta. Tarkista matkavakuutuksesi kattavuus.<\/li><\/ul>
Sovellettava laki ja paikka riitatapauksissa<\/h3>
Sopimuspuolet pyrkiv\u00e4t ratkaisemaan riidat yhdess\u00e4 neuvottelemalla. Jos sopimukseen ei p\u00e4\u00e4st\u00e4 neuvottelemalla riidat sovitaan Lapin k\u00e4r\u00e4j\u00e4oikeudessa. Sopimukseen sitoudutaan noudattaen Suomen lakia.
