After dressing up warmly for the safari and a short driving school we drive on snowmobiles to meet a reindeer herder. At his reindeer farm we will apart meeting his reindeers learn how to drive a reindeer!
Everyone who passes the test will be given an international reindeer driving license.
By open fire we’ll invited to his old cottage for cup of coffee and Lappish bakery. Satu, the reindeer farmer’s wife will tell us about reindeer herding and Sami culture.

Children on snowmobile safaris

• Children under 140cm sit in sleighs due to safity measures
• Children under 6 year old sitting in sleighs must be accompanied by an adult or an older sibling
• Children over 140cm tall can sit as passangers on a snowmobile driven by the adult
• Sleighs are always pulled by the guide's snowmobile
• Sleighs fit up to 6 passangers.

• third party motor insurance: The driver of the snowmobile has to be at least 15 years of age with a valid driving licence (own liability max 900 € in accident)

GENERAL TERMS

• snowmobile safaris are subject to change due to weather conditions
• prepaid safaris will not be refunded
• the driver of the snowmobile is held liable for damages caused to the vehicle
• snowmobiles are insured as required by The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act. This insurance covers medical care for injuries to the driver and the passenger arising from accidents.

Personal injuries and damages to third parties are fully covered according to The Finnish Traffic Insurance Act.
Snowmobile safari participants are held liable for damages caused to snowmobiles hired to them. The personal liability (excess) is a maximum of 800 € per snowmobile and per accident.

We reserve the right to change the routing and duration of all excursions or cancel trips if necessary according to the prevailing weather and snow conditions, or if recommended for the safety and comfort of the participants.
