Petronella is located in the center of Saariselkä village. Restaurant Petronella is a high-quality restaurant which main function is good food and cosy environment. In 1989 founded Restaurant Petronella is one of the 13 restaurants in Lapland which has been awarded by Chaîne des Rôtisseurs (in 1992).
The restaurant is named by a Dutch adventuress and journalist Sylvia Petronella van der Moer. She was 26 years old when she heard about Lappish gold-miners in Rovaniemi in 1949. She travelled to Lemmenjoki, where she worked as a cook`s helper for gold-diggers. However after 4 months of stay this cheerful and hardworking Petronella was deported because her passport was not valid any more and she had unpaid hotel bills. Restaurant Joikun Kota is located 12 km to the north of the center of Saariselkä village. There are two lappish huts in the same yard. The bigger onehas seating for 150 and the smaller one for 25 people. Joikun Kota is maintained by a genuine Lappish family and waiters are dressed Lappish costumes. The candle lid hut is a very atmospheric place to have a nice dinner. It is located approx. Kaamoskammi, built from the massive logs, is a safe, dim nest that’s almost entirely cloaked in snow during the winter. Let time come to a standstill in windowless Kaamoskammi where you can curl up and listen to the whispering fells. Your meal is made from the pure ingredients of Lapland cooked over the blaze of an open fire. In the restaurant are seating for 120 people. Open by order for groups only. The Huippu on the mountain top has served visitors since 1954. The old Lappish history is still reminded by an old fell cottage on the top, which provided the first visitors of Saariselkä area with
accommodation and food. Later on the cottage served as a cafe and a souvenir shop.
Today’s Kaunispään Huippu consists of cozy restaurants; the panorama restaurant with 100 seats and the top quality Necktie lappish hut restaurant with kitchen on open fire for 50 people.

Revontulikartano is located 17 km to the north from Saariselkä. Revontulikartano has a total of 152 customer seats (large hall with 104 seats and small hall with 48 seats). To meeting purposes it is suitable maximum for 100 people. Meeting equipment includes an overhead projector, a video projector, a screen and a flipchart. Arrival all year round by car/bus and in winter also by snowmobile.
Riekkovaara Reindeer Farm is located 8 km to the south from the center of Saariselkä. The restaurant is in the main building of the Reindeer Farm and it has 40 customer seats. Riekkovaara Reindeer Farm is a traditional Lapland field, which includes a log house, a hut, a sauna on the shore of the pond, several household buildings and a reindeer fence with reindeer.
Taimenjärvi Hut is located 10 km to the north from the center of Saariselkä. Taimenjärvi Hut is suitable for maximum 30 party dinners. As a base for activities, the hut can be used by larger parties.
